Rev. Ifeanyi Uche Mba

 

The Reverend Ifeanyi Uche Mba was born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Uche Mba of Ebem, Ohafia in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

Rev. Ifeanyi Mba started his primary education at Ujurueze Primary School. He then proceeded to Ohafia High school, Ohafia. After his secondary education, little Ifeanyi registered for the University of Cambridge advanced level exams and made distinction.

He subsequently gained admission into the University of Calabar and studied Computer Science. On completion of his University education, he realized that the call to serve God in his life was urgent. Accordingly, he immediately enrolled at the Trinity (Union) Theological College, Umuahia. Their batch at the Trinity (Union) Theological College was eventually moved to complete their studies at the Essien Ukpabio Theological College,Itu, Akwa-Ibom State. He graduated with Second Class Upper Division and was the best all round student in the set. The Reverend Ifeanyi Uche Mba had maintained the best all round student from his primary to the theological school.

The Reverend Ifeanyi Uche Mba gained employment with the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria while in Port-Harcourt. He worked in Shell for a few years and left to answer God's call and to serve Him.

He has served in Bayelsa State Mission Station as well as at Mary Slessor Memorial Presbyterian Church, Port Harcourt. On completion of the theological program, the General Assembly posted him to Ikom Town Parish for his probation, then to Umuahia Parish as an Associate Minister from where he got posted to the Lagos Presbyterian Church, Yaba Parish.
The Reverend Ifeanyi Uche Mba is an Associate Minister in charge of the Bariga Congregation of the Lagos Presbyterian Church, Yaba Parish.

He is happily married to his lovely wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Uche Mba and they are blessed with two children – Masters Emmanuel Uchechukwu Ifeanyi Uche and Victor Mba Ifeanyi Uche.
