Rev. Nnanna O.Odege
The Rev Nnanna O. Odege was born to the family of Late Teacher Okwun Odege and Madam Victoria Nwanne Okwun, of Elu Ohafia in Ohafia Local Government Area, Abia State. He studied at Elu Community School and Ebri Primary School between 1992 and 1978 and at Okamu Secondary Commercial School, Okon-Aku in Ohafia Local Government Area and obtained the WASC between 1979 and 1983.
Rev Odege obtained a Diploma in Philosophy and Religion from the University of Calabar in 1993; a Diploma in Theology from Trinity Union Theological College, Umuahia in 1996 and a at Bachelor Degree in Divinity from the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN), Bukuru, Jos in 2002. He is currently studying for the award of the Masters Degree in Theology at the Goldie Lay Theological College, Arochukwu.
Between 1985 and 1988, Rev Nnanna Odege had worked with West African Drugs Limited, John Hot Ventures and Oregun Inter Company Security Companies. He also worked at United Spinner Nigeria Limited, Lagos from 1989 to 1993.
He is a serving member of Abia State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board since 2009; a member, as well as a recipient of Peace International Organization Enugu. He belongs to many Charity Organizations working for the edification of the body of Christ and humanity at large. Rev N. Odege in 2006 received the Award of the Best Minister of the PCN from HGLTC, Arochukwu.
Rev Nnanna Odege was baptized at infancy. He received Christ and got born again in August 1982 and was confirmed on November 2, 1986 by the late Very Rev. Dr. James U. Ukaegbu at Yaba.
He had held several positions in PYPAN Apapa Parish between 1986–1993. He answered the call into the Ministry in 1993 under the guidance of Apapa Parish Session ably led by Rev. E. N. Akpanika. He was mentored by the Late Rev. Isaac Nkereuwem and Rev. Aluu W. Nnali.
Rev. Nnanna Odege was licensed at Apapa Parish on June 13, 1996 and served his probation at Emmanuel PCN, Umule, Aba under Rev Ken Uche Elu, and subsequently ordained in Kano on August 17, 1997.
